Is it free to take the exam?
Yes — taking the exam and getting your score are free. You start with your name and email, no card details anywhere. The certificate costs $69, and you only pay that after you pass, if you decide to order it.
Is this the same as CSM or PSM?
No. Those are separate credential bodies with their own trademarks, courses and prices. This is our own certification: no mandatory course, no membership, lifetime validity. Employers verify it on this site.
Do I have to take a training course first?
No. The official free Scrum Guide and our sample questions are included, so you can prepare without paying for a course.
Is it open book? Can I get help during the exam?
Yes. Open book — you may use the Scrum Guide and any notes, and a built-in AI study assistant works with you during the exam to explain concepts and reason through questions.
What happens if I fail?
Unlimited retakes are free — no waiting, no resit fee, no charge to sit the exam again. You also get a breakdown of your score by topic, so you know exactly what to review.
Will an employer recognise it?
It evidences Scrum knowledge; it is not a licence to practise. We publish no invented endorsements — check with your employer before you order the certificate.
How do I prove my certificate is genuine?
Every certificate has a permanent public record. Open it directly, or paste the ID into the verification box above.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund within 14 days, stated the same way in the headline and in the terms. No non-refundable clause, no exceptions buried in fine print. Read the refund policy.
